A lot of shops will take your logo or artwork and run it through auto-trace software to convert it for the laser. It’s fast. It’s also why you’ll see engravings with wonky lines, distorted text, or edges that don’t quite match the original art.
We hand-trace and clean up every logo and image before it ever touches a laser. That means crisp lines, sharp text, and artwork that actually looks like what you brought in. It takes longer. It’s worth it.
Professional-Grade Equipment, Not Hobby Lasers
Ask what kind of laser a shop is running. There’s a real difference between a commercial fiber laser built for precision work and a hobby-grade machine bought to run out of a home. Power, consistency, and depth control all show up in the final piece, especially on metal, firearms, and anything with fine detail.

A Real Shop With Real Accountability

Questions Worth Asking Before You Book
A few quick questions will tell you a lot about who you’re working with. Do they design and trace artwork by hand, or run it through auto-trace software? What kind of laser do they use, and how long have they run it? Do they work out of a real shop with regular hours, or is it a side project? How long have they been doing this professionally, and can they show you real finished work, not just their best five photos? A shop that’s confident in its answers usually earns that confidence honestly.
